I was always taught African-American was hyphenated, and that's the way it came up on the ASR for the longest time. Now, it comes up without the hypen. Thoughts? We don't hyphenate Caucansian-male.
One thought - if the Indians are using our ASR, they should have to submit corrections before they are changed.

These "MTs" can spend all their hard-earned money on reference books, take courses and go to lectures the way the rest of us have and can learn this very difficult work the hard way, LIKE WE DID. Hopefully, someday, these greedy MTSOs will see the errors of their ways, and we'll have our jobs back, we'll be able to pay our bills and feed, cloth, and house our families again.
