It appalls me but ONE if not TWO generations under us (behind us) don't know their Roman Numerals....I cannot fathom it but it is true!

At least in the bigger cities anyway...........

Why question - just curious - karen
- arabics are easier to read; for example - Roman II could be confused with arabic 2 n/m
  - I mean arabic 11 (not 2) - 2 n/m
