When using Velcro in the verb tense, do you use Velcroed for the past tense???

I found online many references to it. I think Velcro is so widely used, that it has become a verb.
Verb 1. Velcro velcro - fasten with velcro; "velcro the belt"
fasten, fix, secure - cause to be firmly attached; "fasten the lock onto the door"; "she fixed her gaze on the man"
