Subject: subscap

Hi there, I have a doctor that says "subscap" a lot in his op reports. I presume he is referring to the patient's subscapula. My spell checker does not like "subscapula." Is there another word that is better? Or is subscapula okay? thank you!!

This guy has no accent or anything, and orthopedics is one of my favs--but this guy says FLAP tear one place, and SLAP tear another.  It's stuff like that.  All I can say is thank heavens for QA when I get boogers like this guy.  As much as I hate to add to their workload, I can't take a chance, either.

And thank you for your help.  Who knows how this will end up.  It's his slurring, not mine (but I may consider it later, even tho I don't drink)!
