I have a dictator that is saying what sounds like Coumadin per "joint X" protocol...  I cannot find this anywhere, but I may be hearing it incorrectly.  If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it.

of himself about doing an INR level to make sure the Coumadin is therapeutic, not too much and not to little.  The INR level should be between 2-3 for most labs.  Sounds like he meant to say Coumadin, and may later on in the dictation talk about getting an INR level.  Hope this helps!
any help? Doc will decide to *desee* her Coumadin if there is improvement. thanks! nm

Since there are so many different transcription platforms, you can't always program in the 1/2 symbol and typing it like that - 1/2 - is clumsy and can be unclear when read. The guidelines at my last in-house job were to convert it to decimal if possible.
