There is mild s/l supra and infraspinatus tendinopathy noted.

Sounds like the Dr. is saying mild supra and infraspinatus tendinopathy. Could it be something else? If not would it be written as supra and infraspinatus? or would I write out supraspinatus and infraspinatus. Sorry if this is clear as mud, long day. TIA.

    Emphysis??

I have looked on the web at sites that describe and show where trigger points are and how to test them, but have yet to come on a word that looks like it could be that.

I am new to this account so forgive me if this is a common term in pain management.

    Help?  Thanks!

if your docs are a lot like some of mine, they try to rush through their dictation more and more by using abbreviations that really do not exist, using cut-off words....you are right, he is saying that there is tendinopathy found in both the supraspinatus and infraspinus, I do lots of ortho ops and procedures. Hope I help!
