Subject: s/l hilectasis
Dr. is reporting the results of a chest x-ray and states that patient was found to have bilateral pleural effusions and s/l hilectasis. I found the definition of ectasis, but there is a clear HI and maybe even an L before the "ectasis." Is there such a thing as high ectasis?
TIA!
