Help...this ortho doc is saying in two separate views that he will obtain x-rays, an AP and what sounds like "sephoid" or something with an 's" and a phoid in it but I can't find anything like that.

Merchant's view x-ray
My orthopedic surgeon and I are having a go around in regards to x-rays views. He wants "Merchant view," I say it is "Merchant's view" (being possessive since it is Dr. Merchant that it is named after. Yet when I search the Internet it comes up in doctor's literature, medical schools, radiology offices as all of the above as well as "Merchants view." My daughter who graduated recently with a major in English said it should be "Merchant's view," that the possessive is the correct way. Any opinions out there?
