At this point in time, the patient is on a ventilator and chest tube. Blood pressure is 100 on vasopressors, specifically NEOSPORIN? This is very clear. At a loss here. Thanks.

Never heard of Neosporin ER, but I was told to make sure I had Neosporin listed as an allergy in case I was in any accident involving my eyes so they didn't use the ophthalmic solutions containing it. Yes, I'm weird :) What's weirder is that my husband is allergic to Benadryl. Gives him hives.

my doc told me not to use neosporin on my fair-skinned child.

Son had cellulitic infection a few years ago in his diaper area. Doc tole me to only use polysporin on fair skin. Not sure what the significance or reasoning was but the neosporin made it worse and the polysporin cleared it up quickly.
