ES Injections, diagnostic/therapeutic indicating a number
Subject: ES Injections, diagnostic/therapeutic indicating a number

Anyone familiar with how to indicate diagnostic or therapeutic injections by a number?  Doc says therapeutic injection number 1, of course some are diagnostic injection # x.  Should that go in a separate heading, or just as part of procedure description sentence?  Have no samples from this practice to go by.  Thanks for any info.

I'm typing neuro exam:  Motor exam:  ...deconditioning and *involutional* atrophy of age.

When I *Googled* involutional atrophy, I got all these hits to member-protected medical websites; go figure... (just a little vent on the word board here).

Anyway, anyone familiar with this term? TIA.

Villous atrophy
Subject: Villous atrophy

I believe the doctor is saying true villous atrophy.  I'm not sure if the true part is right or if there's another word.  The doctor took biopsies of the duodenum and says they did find blunting and inflammation (if additional information is needed).  TIA.

I found the same thing myself. I did use the cephal atrophy, but I may be all wrong, maybe not. It is in the same sentence (a run-on btw), that is talking about possible neuropathy. Really just doesn't make sense to me.
