would that read 27/90? or just like it sounds, 2790.  I'm having a hard time finding the normal values or how to type the results.

Not sure where I found this offhand, but I have a little reference sheet taped to my computer:


BNP levels below 100 pg/mL indicate no heart failure.


BNP levels of 100-300 pg/mLsuggest heart failure is present.


BNP levels above 300 pg/mL indicate mild heart failure.


BNP levels above 600 pg/mL indicate moderate heart failure.


BNP levels above 900 pg/mL indicate severe heart failure.
