Number readings ?
Subject: Number readings ?

Thanks for replying so fast.  Actually, my question was on the J point elevation s/l "1 and ?"  Kind of sounded like 1 and the letter "o", but doesn't make sense.  Didn't know if maybe he was speaking of a certain lead, but doesn't sound close to anything.  Thanks so much for your time!!!!  :-)
Blood pressure readings -sm
Subject: Blood pressure readings -sm

The doctor clearly states: Blood pressure in the field was 180 over palp, later 112/124, and then later 188 over palp.

Does the 112/124 sound correct? It is clearly stated, but I think he may be stating it incorrectly. Has anyone heard of a reading like this?

Thank you.

Hi,

I have a doc who always states blood pressures like this:  "They are in the one-teens to 120s over 80s."  How would the rest of you write this?

Thanks

I learned a long time ago how to differentiate between the two. principal is the head of a school and he is your princi*pal*. he is your pal. the other principle is what would be used in a report. hope this helps.

That's a shame, because it is definitely not principal, it's principle.  In grade school, I was taught to remember the difference like this:  The school principal is your PAL.  Too bad about your national getting it wrong.  Hopefully it's just one person at your national...and probably one you dare not argue with, eh?

Principal (in addition to the head of a school) is an adjective meaning chief or main. Principle is never an adjective. Don't take my word for it. Check a dictionary.
