DB to nystagmus?
Subject: DB to nystagmus?

I can't tell what this guy is saying!  The first sentence...Neck was not stiff....is very clear.  Can't tell if a period goes after stiff because then I hear jumbled words something about...to the stagmus...but stagmus isn't a real word.

Looking around there is stuff about stiff neck and nystagmus.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what this guy might be saying.  It sound somewhat like the sentence below...what would DB possible be?

With nystagmus, the eyeball might "jump." It beats from side to side, or middle to side, etc.
Subject: With nystagmus, the eyeball might "jump." It beats from side to side, or middle to side, etc. sm

Doubt antistigmatic--not a word. Astigmatism is something entirely different. There is no reference in Stedman's ophth for antistigmatic, but do believe they mean nystagmus for "eyes jump." Can you leave a blank? The author apparently doesn't know the correct word to use. Maybe the context of the sentence will help you.

an ESL or a mumbler and it might be morphine?

As an aside, for a laugh, I used to work for a neurologist who apparently had a patient pull a Rx paper off the top of his Rx pad when he wasn't looking.  The doc got a call a few hours later from a pharmacy trying to verify the Rx for "mo feen".

He's a mumbler, so who knows!!  I might have to leave a blank, as now I can't tell if it is Y or "wide".
