I type it according to the Tessier Surgical Work Book and there is no "s" at the end of Ringer, just lactated Ringer solution.

I have always typed Ringer's and the doc is saying that, but in my Saunders Pharmaceutical Word Book 2007 it has lactated Ringer and Ringer solution (now Ringer irrigation). So confusing. Why do they do that??? LOL Has it changed???

As an aside, for a laugh, I used to work for a neurologist who apparently had a patient pull a Rx paper off the top of his Rx pad when he wasn't looking. The doc got a call a few hours later from a pharmacy trying to verify the Rx for "mo feen".
