Metformin is sometimes used in women with PCOS to help them ovulate. Lowering calories, Clomid, etc., are also used for treatment. Patients with this are usually overweight or obese with insulin resistance and hormonal issues. Sometimes reducing calories alone will help a woman with PCO ovulate.

This is exactly how the Dr. dictated it-- The patient is a plethoric, tremulous, dyspneac looking like a patient with chronic obstructive lung disease or sleep apnea.
Did she mean to leave the a out before plethoric? That would make more sense but I know you guys would no better than I. I'm still in school and learning. Thanks for the help!
