Sentence reads: Enlarged lymph nodes are identified in the periaortic and pericaval regions.
I can't find pericaval in either Stedman's Words and Phrases, medical dictionary, or OneLook Dictionary. I do find it as a phrase "pericaval regions" all over Google Scholar and Google, but are those reliable sources? Do they want precaval, which is in both dictionaries?

Well, periaortic means surrounding or adjacent to the aorta. Pericaval (caval is relating to vena cava) could be used as a combo word I think.
