This patient is seen in the ICU after being struck by a car, many various injuries.

After stabilization, he went to the operating room for fixation of his femur fracture. His s/l level of ventil-o-elector-y-spore" was rapidly weaned.

I tried to space this as it is enunciated, but I can't tell if it is 2 words, 3 words, or what. Any help appreciated.

I believe that's it! Thank you. He's a mumbler. nm

Patient seen for low back and lower extremity pain. Under plan: We would recommend an indirect decompression through an XLIF (collateral or lateral) approach at L4-5.

It sure sounds like he is sounding out XLIF, and I cannot tell if he is saying collateral or lateral, but normally I would hear anterior or posterior lateral approch here and he is saying something way off from this. Sorry my sound like is not much help - it sounds like he is saying ex-something.

Thanks for any help!
