"May-Thurner syndrome is compression of the left iliac vein by the artery crossing over it." I found multiple hits on Dogpile for this spelling from professional sites. I found only one reference to "mae-thurner" and it is in a laypersons forum and likely spelled wrong.

Is dysmetabolic syndrome and metabolic syndrome used interchangeably?  In this dictation the doctor refers to it in the past medical history as metabolic syndrome and then in the assesment/plan as dysmetabolic syndrome.
