I'm typing a report that says the patient has infiltrating ductal carcinoma, ER positive, PR positive and something that sounds phonetically like "hir-tu-nu" positive.  Anybody know what she's talking about?  Later she says "node positive" so I suspect it has something to do with lymph nodes.  Thanks in advance!

sestamibi scan (SES-tuh-MIH-bee... )

An imaging test used to find overactive parathyroid glands (four pea-sized glands found on the thyroid) and breast cancer cells, and to diagnose heart disease. The patient receives an injection of a small amount of a radioactive substance called technetium which is bound to another substance called sestamibi. This substance collects in overactive glands, cancer cells, heart muscle, or other tissues and a picture is taken by a gamma camera (a special camera that detects radioactivity).

Selenium + vitamin E can prevent & cure both breast cancer & prostate cancer!  (Brazil nuts are the best source of selenium, & sunflower seeds are an awesome source of natural vitamin E!)

And YES, of course the drug companies know about it, but broadcasting this information to the public would stop the flow of nearly $$ 1/2 million per cancer patient!  Not to mention all the multiplied millions in donations to the ACS for the so-called "Race for a Cure," which is a lying farce.  All that money guarantees that they will never want to be put out of business.

I have never seen/used a hyphen either.  I guess it also depends upon what the doctor wants.  I have one doctor where I use a hyphen in follow-up no matter what, and I know that is not "correct" just they way he wants it.

In the partial mastectomy, __scarsman__ II tumors were identified. I have looked under types of tumor, and googled it under different terms and cannot come up with anything.  I'm probably not even close!
