I am very unfamiliar with ophthalmic procedures. Physician states "retrobulbar injection of Marcaine was given via a _______ cannula mounted on a syringe to the inferior-temporal conjunctival wound."
This ____ sounds like "green ball or bulb". Does this make sense. I can't seem to find this anywhere and am not positive this is correct.

actually is is pars linitis plastica. However, I do believe you may be correct. Not hearing the word and seeing "flaccida" which sounds more like "plastica" than "pylorica" that is where I derived my post from.

That has to do with the tympanic membrane. Pars plastica has to do with the stomach.
