well, if the doc is doing abdominal exam, he would be looking for guarding, tenderness, rebound, etc

abdominal and pelvic region to rule out either a renal (kidney pain is mixed with back pain), or peritoneal or or intestinal pain, which can radiate to back. So if you hear it clearly, I think it is right, many docs use certain phrases lots of times!

Comprehensive history and physical completed for left shoulder arthroscopic surgery on 04/30/07.
