Subject: no HIGER change of diabetes or hypertension

In the PE section under HEENT - the doc says no s/l HIGER change of hypertension or diabetes - I've looked up everything that makes sense and some that didn't.  I know I've seen and used the word before but I'm completely at a loss.  Anyone able to help?  Thanks if you can.

hypertension stages
Subject: hypertension stages

Hi,

Anyone know if stages of hypertension are now to be noted with Arabic numerals?  I have always been taught that they are to be in Roman numeral form.  If you have the answer to this, please send me the reference as well, as I haven't been able to find this in any of my medical term books/references.  Even my Stedman's Cardiology book doesn't have information on this as far as I've been able to find.  Thanks so much for any help!

Thanks, but I need an actual medical reference, not a website of a group of doctors.  I'm trying to find the official answer.  I appreciate your time, though!

I can't discern this, but think she may be saying buformin.  However, it sounds more like 'the formin' or maybe 'his formin', which my spellchecker seems to be okay with, but I am unable to document through other sources.  Is formin by itself a medication?
