I am a grammar freak!  Here in Maine, we have a lot of people who fish for lobster.  Locals refer to it as "lobstering" but that's not a "real word," if ya know what I mean.  Many people type it because the dictator says it, but I reformat however necessary to say "lobster fishing."  I have been doing the same thing with that pesky "trialed" word too--reformatting to use the words tried or trial.  Due to the fact I am totally neurotic, I did ask my QA person last night in an e-mail after posting the above question.  I have to wait until Monday for a response.

Of course I'll wind up doing whever they tell me, but then I will have it documented in an e-mail if I get zapped on it for QA.  None of my accounts are verbatim...and I'm kinda thankful for that.  One dictator I get would have me putting colons after every single word or broken sentence for some reason.  Colon fetish...who knew?!

I really should go back on my meds
