Doc is an ESL (and a pretty good speaker but the sound quality isn't the best), and he sounds like he says he's using a seeramick (spelled phonetically) to remove a BB from this child's ear. I've searched my ENT and equipment books as well as googled and am having no luck finding this. I thought maybe it was his way of pronouncing ceramic, but I don't even know if there is such a thing as a ceramic curette. He's definitely not saying serrated. Any ideas?

Unsure of spelling. It is a psychiatric unit and s/l "cape". I have found 1 link to a CAIP unit on a Google search that was an abbreviation for a children and adolescent in-patient unit, but some of the patients they use this term with are not children or adolescents. I wrote this one down -- cross-referencing in both "c" and "s"
Browsing this morning, I read original post and thought I had had "servant" as "cervatte" or something before -- looked up a couple different spellings, and could not find, so figured I must have been wrong and moved on. However, this one would have bugged me enough I would have spent more time searching later...
Glad you posted the correct answer.
