I have heard of fallen teeth
Subject: I have heard of fallen teeth
I had my bottom wisdom teeth pulled and the dentist told me that unless I had the correlating top teeth pulled as well, the top ones would "fall" or drop because they have no lower teeth to rest upon. Hope that helps.

don't fix it. I know they changed it, but now that I am really old and have been doing this for a very, very long time, I notice that they are always changing something and sometimes it is something did not need changing. If people are not intelligent enough to read Roman characters then they should not be working in a capacity to read medical reports. This is not meant to be hostile, but it is true.
that's right, if it isn't broken, don't fix it..LOL

It makes sense to me. I haven't heard that before, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I would assume they are measuring into the esophagus from the edge of the teeth.

in the context of your sentence doesn't make a whole lotta sense. I was originally thinking the patient lost dentures from the transfers, admissions, etc., so could not eat well, but the "sounds like" word you give is too similar to edentia.
