Does "milk of magnesia" need to be capitalized? I do speech recoginition editing and it always comes in capitalized. Is that right, or should it be lower case?
That is what they gave me to dry my milk.

Just FYI, there are more french terms medically speaking, i.e., there is also *peau d'orange* which is *orange skin* used in medicine to describe something with the look (orange color) and texture (dimpled appearance) of an orange peel; for example the skin of the breast in inflammatory breast cancer or the retina in pseudoxanthoma elasticum.

I'll go with dB, then. It makes more sense to me than "disk diameter". Fortunately, I'm still working on the report, so now I can send it without blanks.

Gee, ya think? You should see some of the stuff
I don't know who they got working there sometimes. So much conflicting stuff it's unreal. I call them on it every time though and send it to my super. It's hard enough without the conflicting feedback.
Example:
Dictator said HPI (for a heading), so I typed it HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS. I get QA feedback that says, "If the dictator dictates the header as HPI, type it in as HPI." So I'm like okey dokey.Next time I get HPI I do just that. Then I get a nasty note. NEVER, EVER abbreviate in the headers, always spell it out. I'm like geeesh!
One told me to type out 2:00 O'clock (for position, i.e., cornea).
