Procedure is placement of a transobturator sling for stress urinary incontinence.
Sentence: I then passed one <s/l limb> of the sling uneventfully.
I can't find anything on a "limb of a sling". I thought maybe he could be saying "end" but I'm not sure. (ESL doctor).

to the fact that the proximal lumbar spine is coercing a problem below that level. If you look at the context of the word coercion:
1 : to restrain or dominate by force : to compel to an act or choice. 2 : to bring about by force or threat.
Long shot, but I have had my share of docs making up their own stuff so they can sound "intelligent."
