Eisel nodes?
Subject: Eisel nodes?
Has anyone heard of Eisel nodes? One of my clients is a chiropractor who says it is a node that can form particularly over the SI joint and can be very painful. I have searched everywhere and cannot find it. I don't doubt my client but I would like to know if it goes by any other name and/or anyone has run across it before. Many thanks.

ESIL's nodes
Subject: ESIL's nodes
The proper spelling is ESIL which stands for episacroiliac lipomas. A benign condition of fatty mass or masses over the sacroiliac joint or joints. This can commonly become inflammed or irritated and cause pain. Once inflammation is controlled the pain is relieved. The nodes will likely remain palpable, but non-tender.
