Doctor dictates what s/l "there is pain on palpation of the lateral SHOULDER of the talus........" Not making sense to me...........any takers?

As far as I can find talus is only referred to in the foot/ankle, but this doctor is doing a cyst excision on the middle finger and says "The talus formation to the dorsal soft tissue was also s/l lipsed out." Can someone help with the talus formation part and also "lipsed out"? THanks

This is for total knees. He consistently says, AP, lateral, sunrise, and S/L forefoot cassette. I should know this! Cannot find a site with list of x-rays either. THanks for any help.
