If patient is not improved we will consider doing a repeat CPAP titration with MSOP to follow as patient may benefit from Provigil if she continues to have severe daytime hypersomnolence with controlled sleep apnea.

CPAP vs. C-PAP
Which way is definitely correct? My reference books all say CPAP, but I have seen it somewhere as C-PAP. Doctor on "verbatim" account spelling it out for me at "C-PAP" (specifically mentioning the dash). Is there any way type it correctly and still adhere to "verbatim"? What a time waster. Thanks.

I have a doctor physicially go into a report and change what I had transcribed to C-pap, so each doctor wants things his way. With a hyphen does not change the meaning and if a doc wants things certain ways and it is verbatim, the you almost always have to go with the doc unless it is totally wrong. I would refer it to my supervisor.

Subject: Is your patient a male? There are male sounds and female sounds. sm
Male sounds are shaped differently than female sounds. Obviously, male sounds being longer. They are used to dilate the urethra in order to facilitate the passage of stones or perhaps JJ stents etc. They come in different diameters ie..18FR, 20FR etc. Hope this helps.
