The doctor says that the patient has vocal cord nodules secondary to vocal "apuse". I am sure this should be "abuse" but the doctor is very easy to understand, and I know I hear a "P" sound. Is there such a thing?

I can hear the barometer part clearly and it is a lung/breathing issue. Any clues? I'm completely stumped here. In terms of sleep disordered breathing, specifically in the central sleep apnea, there was very minimal evidence of either central sleep apnea or change doxed respirations with periodic breathing.
