I have seen this is on other Medical Transcription Word Boards where doctor's seem to "bastardize" the word and use the term bundloid. Don't know if it is legit or not, but this is the third time from a transcriptionist I have seen it.

and before I e-mail my PS, I wanted to see if I was wrong. I researched but seems I was right. I was corrected for using Entero Vu contrast - I was told it is Enteroview. According to Stedman's it is Entero Vu plus I have been Radiology for 10 years and always used this spelling. I was also corrected on using centimeters per second - I use cm/s but was corrected to cm/sec. Any help on these? Thanks!

I want to tell you that Dorland is a little outdated and oldfashiomed.
This is NOT an EXCEPTION, this I can tell you, because I studied Latin.
It is decubitus / decubiti
or
decubitus ulcer / decubitus ulcers.
The OP said that the doctor dictated 'decubiti'. If this is on top of it a 'verbatim' account and she types decubitus, whereas the doctor dictated 'decubiti', then she WILL REALLY BE IN TROUBLE.
IF YOU LIKE IT OR NOT !
And why do you threaten me?
