a test for studying choroidal vasculature by which indocyanine green dye, which absorbs infrared light at 805 nm and emits at 835 nm, is injected intravenously and photographed as it flows through the retinal and choroidal vessels.

"Straight AP with cranial angulation was used for this angiogram.  A 7-mL of hand injection with *visipate* contrast was performed in the main pulmonary artery."


I can't find anything close to s/l "visipate" on google.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Determining hepatic function, cardiac output and liver blood flow and for ophthalmic angiography

Usual Dosage

Dilute dose in sterile water for injection or 0.9% NaCl to final volume of 1 mL if necessary doses may be repeated periodically; total dose should not exceed 2 mg/kg
  Infants: 1.25 mg

  Children: 2.5 mg

  Adults: 5 mg

Dosage Forms

Injection: 25 mg
