This concise manual is a valuable reference for identifying and performing special tests used during an orthopedic examination. Now available in a spiral-bound format-perfect for the reader to lay-flat and refer to as they are practicing the tests. Students, clinicians, and rehabilitation professionals will enhance their ability to interpret and evaluate their findings.

I just found VFFTC on there as I couldn't remember it and was having a major brain cramp. Always remember if it sounds like "B" it could be "V" and check both.
This site has helped me out a lot with those docs that like to abbreviate everything.
I actually had one doc that dictated, as fast as he could talk, under physical exam, WDWNLAM with no clue as to what part of the PE he was getting at. It took me a minute to realize he was abbrieviating "well developed, well nourished Latin American Male."

I think I use the following site more than anything else. It's a great all-around site for all things medical, but the abbreviation look-up is awesome! You can also look up abbrevs by definition. It also has a medical dictionary, ICD9 code search, Rx look-up, US Rx drug spelling, skin conditions, hospitals worldwide, medical associations, and more!
