Seven Flowers is an anti-hypertensive Chinese herbal formula that may nutritionally help lower blood pressure, lower lipid and cholesterol levels, and have a calming effect on the body, without the usual side effects. Many people have found great relief with Seven Flowers. They sleep better, live calmer and relate to stress better. This rare, all natural flower extract formula triggers mechanisms which mobilize the body's own biochemical makeup. It contains a proprietary blend of: Black Moss, Chrysanthemum, Honeysuckle, Radix Notoginseng, Sophora Japonica, Prunella Vulgaris and Cleistocalyx Operculatus.

Orders read give "gr X" (grains 10) Tylenol® q 4-6° prn. How many milligrams of acetaminophen do you give?
Answer: You don't give any. Many facilities consider the use of grains archaic and a source of medical errors. Depending on the source, 5 grains can equal 300-325 mg. Now consider many medications are measured and given in hundredths of milligrams: the difference of 25 mg could have disastrous consequences. The best solution is to have the doctor rewrite the order in milligrams.
For educational purposes this calculator considers 1 grain = 64.8 milligrams however the National Weights & Measures Laboratory considers 1 grain = 64.79891 milligrams. My nursing text book vacillates between 1 grain = 60-64 milligrams. If you were to solve this problem using this calculator the answer would be 648 milligrams (roughly 2 plain acetaminophen tablets).

You can search on part of the word. Also it never hurts to try googling the word, especially if you have some other pertinent words to use in the search as well. If you're close enough, Google will sometimes give it to you. There's also Google Suggest, particularly helpful if you know the begining of words or phrases but not the end. As you type, it starts giving a list of suggestions. Hope some of that helps.
