This is a term that forever stumps me, as I can find no reference anywhere as to the correct pleural form of it: One decubitus, two ?. What is the correct pleural form of this word? Docs will inevitably dictate this as decubiti, but I cannot verify this. PLEASE HELP
It is DECUBITI,
like the doctors dictate it. On top of it I am sure that it is VERBATIM, so you have to type as dictated. Why would you change it to 'decubitus ulcderS. And you cannot tleave it as decubitus, as this is the SINGULAR FORM.
Whoever says that the word decubitus does not have a plural is wrong and has no idea of the Latin language.
