The skin was then infiltrated with 0.25% bupivacaine, and an ANTIMED????? introducer needle with sheath was inserted and directed towards the 6 o'clock position of the pedicle at L5. Thanks.

The canal was narrowed to 7 mm, and the disc osteophyte complex extended 4 mm into the canal. At C6-7 there was moderate disc space narrowing with broad-based disc osteophyte complex, mild anterior s/l *epidural bar and broad line *central stenosis, a filling defect in the right neural foramen possibly representing a lateral disc protrusion, which would impact the exiting C7 nerve root, and a filling defect extending 7 mm in length x 4 mm. It was uncertain whether this represented disc or disc osteophyte.
This doesn't seem to make sense.. Any suggestions here? thanks
