Your reference is British. Note the spellings of centre, etc. Check Vera Pyle's book and Dorland's Medical Dictionary and also the American Medical Association reference for making nouns out of proper names. Our own BOS states not to capitalize words derived from eponyms.

I don't know enough about EKGs to know how abnormal this is, and I'm really thinking this is Brugada syndrome. The doctor has questioned the patient about young deaths in his extended family.
