I don't have a dictionary right close but I think the word is blaise (with an umlat above the "e."  If this is the right word, it means something like "nonchalant or don't care one way or the other."  Let me know if that works.

I can tell you have the makings of a good transcriptionist... you can "hear" the words. May not be able to spell them all yet, but you are "hearing" pretty close to what is being said... keep on plugging away. It gets easier!!

I can't think of the word you are looking for (I think it's a regular English word though). But I think the doc is perplexed with the constellation of sx rather than consolation.

when a doctor starts a report a letter and then continues like it is a consult what do you do?

Dear Dr.  X:  I saw your patient and blah blah blah.  Current medications, none.  Past history, none.

Thanks!

Subject: the only reason I asked about the INR is because....

usually he says laboratory data and he did not on this report.  He talked about the ECG then just said INR 3.0.  The doctor says type as dictated, so I did not feel it went under ECG thats why I wanted to make sure about the lab, not unless it would appropriately fit under ECG??  Thanks
Thanks! I find both is why I asked......thanks again

The poster centimeter exactly the way most dictators say it - cenemeter... that, and the fact poster could not remember how to type half of one made me think OP may be an off-shore MT (and possibly using an elite anonymous proxy so that nobody would know).  Of course, I'm just surmising as I personally have no *proof*.......

I asked this same question here back in
Subject: I asked this same question here back in

I can't document this with any reference book or website, but I am pasting an e-mail response that I received below:

Your query relates to a medical condition found originating and usually found on Deer Isle, Maine. It is believed to be the result of in-breeding over
generations of the Haskell and Hardy families when the island of Deer Isle was
isolated from the mainland. There are other instances of genetic disorders occuring where similar circumstances have existed in past times. The disease results in severe deformity of the ankles and feet.

Subject: wasn't being nasty as you put it - I merely asked

how you can interpret a simple question being *nasty* is beyond belief....I asked because she never posted before 3/1 and there are a slew of questions - and is the ONLY reason I asked if she was testing.  I showed and had no attitude in my question BUT YOU SURE DID !!!

around these here parts, I guess one is dam*ed if you do and  dam*ed if you don't.

"Johnny" as slang for a hospital gown, that is. He said yes, he had, and he was pretty sure it's British slang. I told him what I'd found, which was that it can also be slang for a condom, and he too wondered just exactly what was REALLY going on in that hospital bed.... :)

You have some kind of vendetta against her that is just plain sick.
