Hi..this is a stretch, but could it be something like contrast or contrast-enhanced study. Contrast becomes a problem with people who have problems with renal function...
I know how difficult this must be for you, please try to hang in there, it will just take some time to get back. I was off for only 10 months and had a hard time getting back to work -- hearing what they were saying, etc.
Good luck!!

Subject: coxothan?
I've been out of commission with cancer for a few years, and now i'm trying to take a test for a radiology position, but they're giving me cardiology stuff first. i'm totally in the dark here.
sounds like he's saying coxothan (closest I can come is coxofem. A stretch?)
A "cocksothan" study was not performed as requested due to patient’s compromised renal function (he is status post renal transplant).
is there anyone in here who could help me with this test? I have seven years of experience in radiology, but I'm really hurtin here. I'm about to lose my house and I need this work....bad! Or...is there anyone who can tell me a good place to look for home radiology transcription work?
