i use precordium in this instance.

My doc is saying "grade 2/6 systolic murmur heard all over the precordia" I looked up precordia and it says it's the plural of precordium, but can't find more than that really except that it's the area of the chest over the heart etc etc.. Shouldn't it be precordium then? Sorry if this is stupid, I'm really tired....
