How to type nerve conduction latencies?
Subject: How to type nerve conduction latencies?
Good morning :)
How would you type this sentence? "Carpal tunnel shows only .0005 of a second difference over prolonged latency." Is it the way I have it or do I type out the way the doc dictates it, as "five ten-thousandths of a second?" Electrical studies aren't my forte'!
Thanks!

he pain of the anesthesia injection itself can be minimized by injecting the agent slowly and steadily.[4,5] The addition of 8.4 percent sodium bicarbonate to the lidocaine (ratio: 1:10) appears to decrease the burning sensation during infusion, presumably by raising the pH.[4] The correct angle for a subdermal injection is 30 degrees, which will smoothly raise the lesion from the skin[2] (Figure 1). If the injection is too deep, the lidocaine will diffuse into the fat, and a wheel of anesthesia will not form.
