cc or mL?

Okay I type ER reports on one of my 3 jobs. Doctor dictates 500 cc of something. QA sends the correction back changing the cc to mL? There is only 1 or 2 QA people who change this. 98% of them leave it alone the way I had typed it in the first place. I feel if the doctor dictated cc that is what he wants, right? Most of my reports are residents, but still should we not type as dictated? Is that not the idea behind MT work?
Same QA staff where I am does not always follow the Book of Style either. They say use it as a guide, but then fault for things that are in the book.
Needless to say QA is just too impossible to please with this place and I hope to move on and soon.
