cancellous crouton chips???
I am new here to this site and just graduated from an MT school.  I am trying to figure out what this Dr is saying.  I think he is saying cancellous crouton chips but I can't find this anywhere.  It is pretty clear but I am unsure of the crouton thing.  Can anyone help???
cancellous crouton chips
It is an operative report and the Dr says " The void was then packed with cancellous crouton chips and cancellous crouton bone graft chips and then..."
cancellous "crouton" chips
"curetted" or "cortical" may be the word(s) you're looking for. If these don't seem to fit and you don't have another transcriptionist who could listen for you, try Googling "cancellous bone graft chips" or some combination thereof to access research references. Good luck!
Nevermind - found it! Cancellous.
