There is a Reverdin-McBride bunionectomy, but that does not sound like your DeVries. It's the only one I found. Sorry can't be of more help!

Sounds like maybe "DeVries-McBride bunionectomy." Very fast talker, slurs the first part. I can't find any reference to a DeVries bunionectomy or any type of DeVries foot surgery. The McBride part is clear, however. Any ideas?
