When I look up "fold", it is defined as multiplying, but it uses "fourfold" as one word. Any ideas on this one. Is eighty-to-one-hundredfold correct?

The doctor says that the patient has vocal cord nodules secondary to vocal "apuse". I am sure this should be "abuse" but the doctor is very easy to understand, and I know I hear a "P" sound. Is there such a thing?

he dictates ferrous sulfate later on as a discharge med but he says this one again as an infusion. It's in the hopes of preventing a transfusion. "His ferritin rose up with the XXXXXX infusion".
