Subject: What would you do?

This is the first time I have had this happen to me, so I'm not sure what to do about it.  Here goes

CHIEF COMPLAINT:  Rule out left peritonsillar abscess.  (nothing wrong there)

Then the dictator starts the HPI and starts talking about the right tonsil.  I have not heard mention of the left tonsil again at all. He even mentions no evidence of an abscess on the right tonsil initially, etc.

This is a verbatim account, so should I just flag it and send it to QA, or should I change left to right in the chief complaint section?

TIA!!
