Subject: Verapamil SR, etc.
I keep getting certain meds which are either sustained or extended-release, which of course have generics. One I keep getting is Verapamil SR, but all I've found is Calan-SR I realize the pharmacist will know how to handle it, but I'm just wondering how y'all type this stuff. It seems like everything is going "extended/sustained" release nowadays.
Of course, since basically everything is verbatim, that's another thing I would appreciate how others handle these types of things.
Thanks!

Not these made up silly things. I had doctor who said clunky cough, yicky sputum, goopy eyes and goopy nose...and ackME for acne...gwyahnephrine for guaifenesin...metroprolol for metoprolol and the list went on. She was such a good doctor, born in the USA and still had command of the English language that was sadly lacking.
