I also found Valtrex, but this is fot Herpes treatment. One should tell the doctor if one has HIV/AIDS, then one should not take it ??????

This is for a patient with a flare of herpes virus along her mouth and the doctor states she refilled her "Axer" (sounds like). Any ideas what medication this could be?

Sounds like herpes "syn" rash. Not skin, cause later dates no cutaneous component. sm

The nature of her chest wall spasms is not clear. The first thing that comes to mind is herpes, but this would have to be herpes syn rash. There does not appear to be a cutaneous component to it, and postherpetic neuralgia is less likely but still remains the most likely diagnosis.

The wounds were dressed and wound care instructions were given.
