Latin and English, but I believe he said he was doing VR work, and the program changed the phrase to this abbreviation. Somebody had to have told the program to do that, so it makes one think that is what the client has requested, so I hate to tell somebody the old rules that I follow when it could get them in trouble with their QA person.

Has anyone heard of Eisel nodes? One of my clients is a chiropractor who says it is a node that can form particularly over the SI joint and can be very painful. I have searched everywhere and cannot find it. I don't doubt my client but I would like to know if it goes by any other name and/or anyone has run across it before. Many thanks.

What I thought at first too, but he spelled it for me, "Eisel." Thanks
ESIL nodes? Subject: ESIL nodes?
ESIL nodes, for: episacroiliac lipomas? Just saw one site with it.
The proper spelling is ESIL which stands for episacroiliac lipomas. A benign condition of fatty mass or masses over the sacroiliac joint or joints. This can commonly become inflammed or irritated and cause pain. Once inflammation is controlled the pain is relieved. The nodes will likely remain palpable, but non-tender.
Stedman's Oncology Words has paraaortic lymph node under the heading node.
Here's a good site for lymph nodes:

Since you have identified this as something hard to remember, make yourself a shortcut for it, like paln.
